On Friday, November 7th, students from Mrs. Vandenbrink's class enjoyed a walking field trip.  Their first stop was the Nicola Valley Museum, where they learned about Merritt's history.  Check out the pictures to see how everyone was learning together!  Afterward, the class walked to the pool for lunch.  They are thankful to the arena staff for kindly allowing them to eat inside.

After lunch, students had a great time, swimming at the Nicola Valley Aquatic Center before making their way back to school.  What an excellent opportunity for the class!

Today, Ms. Kane’s, Ms. Jones’s, and Mr. Denton’s classes took a walk down to Central Park for a special fall adventure. When they arrived, they discovered that pumpkins had been hidden all around the hillside! Each student had to search carefully through the bushes, trees, and rocks to find the pumpkin with their name on it.
